Mangunan Fruit Garden

A scenery that can make you feel at one with nature. A peak that has breathtaking panoramic view. A spot where the clouds appear below where you would be standing.
Indisputably! – A PERFECT PICTURE!

Mangunan fruit garden is located in the district of Imogiri, Yogyakarta. However during the time of our visit I didn’t see any fruit at all. Might not be in season for bearing fruit I still find myself favoured to witness such natural beauty. The hike up the hill is quite tough but the view is definitely worth it! The struggle from the rugged terrain to get up the hill will be paid off when you reach the mountain top. And you will see nothing but the beauty of real nature.

The best time to visit is at dawn where the clouds is dancing in front of you at the terrace right on top of the hill. I was speechless. A scene where heaven meets earth. Savour the moment and wait as the rising sun shoots beams of light through cracks and holes in the clouds. I was totally in awe. I couldn’t be more grateful for witnessing the pastoral scene.

Definitely one of my fave when in Yogyakarta.
